My real name is Katerina Petrova, I'm from Bulgaria. I'm more commonly known as Katherine Pierce. As a human, I had a baby out of wedlock, my own father has denied me and I was forced to move in England where I met Trevor who introduced me to Elijah who introduced me to Klaus, an evil vampire who wanted to kill me for some reason I didn't know about - I've been running from him since that. In 1864 I met the Salvatore brothers, they both fell in love with me. When my identity was revealed to their father, me and other vampires were taken to Fell's Church to be destroyed but George helped me to escape. Have you heard about me? C'mon, everyone knows who I am. If Elena Gilbert has the Salvatore brothers worship at her altar, she should thank me. She's my doppelgänger and that's why she looks like me, but I am hotter, sexier, funnier, prettier, cooler, better than her. And I started it all. First, I fooled everyone.
